AT&T is closing its flagship store in downtown San Francisco situated at 1 Powell Street. A workers member on the store, selecting to stay nameless since he’s not approved to communicate to the media, stated that his supervisor informed him that the situation will close in August. The 24,000-square-foot store began promoting telephones, tablets, wi-fi plans, and different tech goodies beginning in 2016; the earlier tenant on the location was Bank of America.
AT&T’s Collins acknowledged, “We are happy with our continued presence in the neighborhood, not solely via our retail shops and our native funding in world-class connectivity with our 5G and fiber networks. All retail staff affected by this variation will likely be supplied jobs at considered one of our different many retail places throughout the metropolis.”
The store will close in August and whereas no precise date has been introduced, we would count on the situation to shut its doorways for good on August 1st.
