    IN THE previous few months, the wheels began to fall off NASA’s Mars Sample Return (MSR) mission. The venture goals to deliver 500 grams of Martian rock and soil to Earth in 2033 to look for indicators of present or extinct life types, however a litany of finances overruns and know-how blunders have put its viability unsure.

    Not that MSR wants such issues to arouse controversy, as it’s a troublesome idea all spherical. The cause why? There is a non-zero risk that it may ship to Earth extraterrestrial organisms that microbiologists merely don’t perceive or know the way to …
