    In October 2016, a malware device named Mirai took down a few of the greatest websites and companies on the internet, together with Netflix, Spotify, Twitter, PayPal, and Slack. The blackout affected most of the East Coast of the United States, and the dimension and scope of the outage alarmed the cybersecurity researchers and regulation enforcement businesses tasked with thwarting such assaults. The code that induced this meltdown was created by three people, all of their teenagers or early 20s. The trio had constructed a device that took management of internet-connected sensible house units and used them—like an enormous zombie military—to knock the web’s most important servers offline. Now, years later, Mirai’s three creators have instructed their story.
