    “We’re both saddened and angered about the recent criminal cyberattack on our studio and the emotional toll it’s taken on our team,” the assertion posted on X learn. “We have focused inwardly for several days to support each other.”

    The hack was perpetrated by the Rhysida hacker group, who ransomed the info for $2 million in Bitcoin. When the ransom was not paid, hackers disseminated the knowledge that contains Insomniac inside enterprise plans, finances info, in-development property for the studio’s upcoming Wolverine game, and worker private identifiable info.

    Insomniac’s response has targeted on the influence this hack has had on its staff and reassured followers that work on Wolverine continues apace.

    “Marvel’s Wolverine continues as planned. The game is in production and will no doubt evolve throughout development, as do all our plans. We will share official information about Marvel’s Wolverine when the time is right.”
