    In a rarely-heard accident, a robotic crushed a man to death in South Korea after it was not ready to differentiate him from the meals packing containers it was dealing with, said media stories.

    The incident befell when the man, an worker in a robotics firm and in his 40s, was finishing up the inspection of the robotic.

    The robotic arm took the man for a field of greens and grabbed him mistakenly. It then pushed him over the conveyor belt which led to his face and chest getting crushed by the machine, said South Korean information company Yonhap.

    The man was rushed to the hospital, nonetheless, he later succumbed to his accidents.

    As reported by Yonhap, the robotic was given the duty of selecting packing containers of peppers and shifting them onto pallets.

    The man was checking the sensor operations of the robotic earlier than its take a look at run on the pepper sorting plant positioned in South Gyeongsang province which was to be held on Wednesday (Nov 8), said the company whereas quoting police.

    Originally, the take a look at had to be carried out on November 6 however was postponed to two days due to issues with the sensor of the robotic.

    The man, who labored in an organization which manufactured the robotic arm, was operating checks on varied machines late into the evening on Wednesday when the robotic malfunctioned.

    After the incident, an official from the Donggoseong Export Agricultural Complex, in an announcement, stated that there’s a want to set up a “exact and protected” system.

    The Donggoseong Export Agricultural Complex is the proprietor of the plant. In March, a South Korean man, who was in his 50s, was critically injured after a robotic trapped him when he was working at an car elements manufacturing plant.
